Intra event


The Avishkar Intra event was held on 24th and 26th of January 2013.
The Intra event consisted of 2 rounds.

Round 1 :

Round 1 was held on 24th January, 2013.
All the participants were divided into 5 different rooms based on their topics.
The schedule of the event was mailed to participants along with the room they belonged to. 
Each presentation was of two phases. ( Shall be same in the Inter Event. )

Phase 1 : Your Presentation (5 - 8 minutes)

In the 1st phase the participant presents his presentation to the audience and the judges for a maximum of 8 mins. The participant must complete all his slides within this stipulated time. A warning bell at the 7th min of your presentation will be sounded indicating only 1 minute of time is left.

Phase 2 : Query session.

In the 2nd phase the participant will face a query session, where in the judges and audience will ask them doubts and questions related to the topic of their presentation. Therefore, participants are recommended to be thorough with their topic.
Once a participant’s presentation is done, the participant must wait in the room till all the other presentations are done.

Round 2 :

Round 2 was held on 26th January 2013.
The top 15 teams from all the rooms ( top 3 from each rooml) were announced on 26th. The top 15 teams re-presented their presentations of which the winners were chosen.
